Job summary

Staxmatic in Addison, TX is seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to support staffing for field and office roles, with a focus on plumbing, mechanical trades, and project support. You will work with HR, operations, and hiring managers to meet current and upcoming staffing needs and help ensure projects are properly staffed.

Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through job boards, referrals, LinkedIn and trade networks; screening and coordinating interviews; maintaining pipelines; supporting

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting experience (construction or skilled trades preferred).
• Familiarity with field roles such as plumbing, mechanical, or other skilled trades is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting efforts for field and administrative positions, including skilled trades, foremen, and project support roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and project teams to understand immediate staffing needs.
• Source candidates using multiple channels such as job boards, referrals, LinkedIn, trade networks, and outreach.
• Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Assist with onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Build relationships with trade professionals, subcontractors, and workforce partners.
• Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and trade school outreach as needed.
• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Support employer branding and recruiting initiatives as assigned.
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as needed.
