Job summary

LEMOINE in Monroe, LA seeks a Construction Surveyor to establish horizontal and vertical control, ensure precise layout of foundations, partitions, equipment, paving, and exterior improvements on site.

You will read blueprints and AutoCAD drawings, operate surveying equipment such as Trimble total stations, GPS, and laser levels, and coordinate with Project Superintendents to prevent delays and maintain cost and schedule efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or Surveying preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction surveying.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment (Trimble, GPS, total stations, laser levels).
• Experience with AutoCAD and blueprint reading.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control on construction sites.
• Ensure accurate layout of foundations, partitions, paving, and exterior improvements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and AutoCAD drawings.
• Operate surveying equipment such as Trimble total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
• Maintain records of survey data and field adjustments.
• Collaborate with Project Superintendents to prevent delays and keep on schedule.
