Job summary

WES Construction Corp. in Massachusetts is seeking a Surveyor to support project execution alongside project Superintendents. You will conduct precise site and building layouts to ensure on-time, accurate delivery.

Responsibilities include baseline surveys, ongoing layout, and producing as-built drawings in AutoCAD, with attention to detail and strong interpersonal collaboration. Willing to commute within 1-1.5 hours of Boston.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience performing construction survey and layout on large commercial construction projects (>$10M).
• 5+ years using AutoCAD.

Your Role

As a Surveyor at WES Construction Corp, you will play a crucial role in project execution, partnering closely with the project Superintendents. You will be in charge of accurate site and building layout contributing to successful, on‑time projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete baseline construction surveys
• Provide ongoing survey and layout throughout the duration of multiple construction projects
• Create as-built drawings in AutoCAD
• Complete quantity takeoff and tracking
• Participate in project meetings such as daily huddles and tool box talks

We Are Seeking a Candidate With

• A strong knowledge of survey equipment including Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS
• Experience with site and building layout (e.g. anchor bolts)
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience performing construction survey and layout for large ($10M+) commercial construction projects
• A minimum of 5 years using AutoCAD
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willing to commute to Boston and surrounding areas (within 1-1.5 hours of Boston)
