Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a motivated Construction Survey CAD Technician to join a growing surveying and engineering team. You will compute and prepare surveys and develop staking files for field crews using CAD software.

You will process mapping and survey data to create deliverables, collaborate with project managers to ensure on-schedule work, maintain organized project files, and perform quality control to verify accuracy and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Surveying or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with CAD platforms (MicroStation, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Compute and prepare various types of surveys, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
• Develop staking files for field crews using CAD software.
• Process mapping, scanning, and survey data to create accurate deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers and survey professionals to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Perform quality control reviews to verify accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
