Position Title: Construction Surveillance Technician II

Location: Dayton, OH

Security Clearance Level: Interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain up to TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph.

Duties and Responsibilities

The AF SAP Security Support Services assist the Air Force in oversight of security operations supporting SAP interests through active security measures. The Construction Surveillance Technician's primary role is to oversee security during SCIF & SAPF construction, including:

• Assessing and recommending policy and procedure improvements
• Identifying threats and vulnerabilities
• Managing escort personnel and logs, training staff, and reporting incidents
• Enforcing SOPs
• Supporting administrative functions
• Inspecting construction materials for secure spaces
• Monitoring and documenting construction progress for accreditation
• Providing team leadership and mentorship

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years related experience, or 7-9 years experience without a degree
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience
• Completion of DoD SAPCO-approved SAPNP training if performing personnel security functions
• Desired: Knowledge of ICD 705 and compliance requirements for SCIFs
• Complete safety training (OSHA, Fall Protection, Confined Space) within first 30 days
• Obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP within first 30 days
