Mainline LLC in Columbia, SC is seeking a Construction Supervisor to manage daily aspects of OSP fiber optic construction across multiple client projects. You will coordinate with vendors, customers, and neighborhoods, and manage project documentation and deliverables.
The role requires 1-3 years experience in OSP fiber optic construction, knowledge of fiber testing equipment, ability to travel up to 50%, and strong communication and leadership skills.

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for managing all daily aspects and resources necessary to complete our OSP projects across multiple customer projects. This person will need to communicate with our vendors, customers and neighborhood residents, as well as manage job documentation and deliverables.

The position is 100% onsite, and working conditions are normal for construction sites. Work hours will be dictated by the needs of the business for client-related project schedules; field working conditions to oversee project progress, including nights and weekends. Travel daily to job sites within a local geographic area (50%). On occasion, for special projects or to attend company-approved meetings, travel outside the normal area will be required (10%).
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk long distances on uneven surfaces, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, occasionally lift moderate weights (up to 50 pounds), and inspect various areas of a construction site in all weather conditions, which may involve reaching, crawling, and stretching;they also need good vision, hearing, and the ability to stand for extended periods.The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time while traveling to construction sites by the most efficient method available.
