ServiceMaster DSI in Stamford, CT is seeking a Construction Superintendent. The role offers a starting salary of $70K-$75K per year, negotiable based on experience, plus a company vehicle and potential annual bonus.

You will lead direct communications with customers, manage carpenters, ensure timely, high-quality construction, and uphold safety standards while growing with a national disaster restoration leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on construction experience.
• 2 years project management experience (preferred).
• Strong remodeling/restoration experience (preferred).
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with customers throughout the project to ensure excellent customer service.
• Management and scheduling of direct report Carpenters.
• Communicate technical problems with installations to the Regional Construction Manager.
• Obtain materials, supplies, permits, licenses, and inspections in a timely manner.
• Ensure timely and quality completion of construction and carpentry projects.
• Adhere to scope, time and material specifications and report discrepancies.
• Assist in change order estimating, approval process and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Ensure productivity of Construction division employees.
• Review job cost reports to monitor labor and material expenses.
• Schedule, price, and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Comply with safety practices and PPE; understand MSDSs for chemicals.
• Follow company policies and safety manuals.
• Operate company vehicle to customer locations.
• Meet regulations and quality standards while delivering world-class service.
• Keep a clean and neat jobsite with a professional impression.
• Manage on-call rotation including some nights and weekends.
• Perform other duties as required.
