Job summary

Sunrise Telecom Inc. is seeking a dedicated on-site Construction Supervisor to oversee daily field operations, verify progress, and maintain quality standards on multiple projects in Alabama.

You will supervise construction crews and coordinators, manage administrative tasks (ordering, tracking supplies, hours and billing), and ensure safety practices are followed while delivering assigned goals. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must work with little to no supervision and self-direct daily activities.
• Well organized and motivated to provide project support.
• Conscientious with a pleasant phone manner and strong organizational skills.
• 1-3 years construction field experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Job description

Responsible for daily supervision and functioning of construction project(s).

Principal duties and Responsibilities:

• Field verifying location and nature of work being performed by putting eyes on the project.
• Confirm quality of work being done and quantity done at the end of each day.
• Responsible for maintaining acceptable performance standards and metrics of crews working on project.
• Oversee day-to-day performance of Construction Coordinators as needed.
• Responsible for all administrative functions necessary to document work including but not limited to ordering and tracking of supplies, billing, hours, safety documents, etc.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are being followed at all times.
• Perform other related work as assigned using available resources to achieve established goals.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Have the ability to complete assignments with no supervision and self-direct daily activities
• Organized and motivated to provide project support as directed
• Conscientious professional who has a pleasant phone manner and excellent organizational skills
• 1-3 years previous Construction experience in the field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
