Job summary

Sunrise Telecom Inc. is seeking a Construction Coordinator 1 to supervise daily construction activities on site and coordinate crews, materials, and schedules. The role requires hands-on field oversight and adherence to safety standards.

You will report to the Operations Manager or owner and ensure quality, track progress, and document work, with a focus on efficiency and reliable communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and dependability.
• 1–3 years of construction field experience.

Responsibilities

• Field verifying location and nature of work with on-site observation.
• Confirm quality and quantity of work at end of each day.
• Maintain acceptable performance standards and crew metrics.
• Maintain project schedule and track progress.
• Handle administrative tasks: documentation, supplies, billing, hours, safety records.
• Ensure safety practices are followed at all times.
• Perform related duties as directed to meet goals.

General Job Summary

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Field verifying location and nature of work being performed by putting eyes on the project.
• Confirmqualityofworkbeingdoneandquantitydoneattheend ofeach day.
• Responsibleformaintainingacceptableperformancestandardsandmetricsofcrewworkingon project.
• Maintaincontractschedule.
• Responsibleforalladministrativefunctionsnecessarytodocumentworkincludingbutnot limited to ordering and tracking of supplies, billing, hours, safety documents, etc.
• Ensuresafetypracticesandproceduresarebeingfollowedatalltimes.
• Perform other related work as assigned using available resources to achieve established goals.
