The Construction Superintendent oversees the daily operations of construction sites from project start to completion. They are responsible for scheduling, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure they align with project specifications and schedule.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors and construction workers.
• Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and security.

Scheduling & Coordination:

• Develop and maintain the project schedule.
• Plan and coordinate work sequences for subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections.
• Attend and conduct site meetings with stakeholders.

Quality Control:

• Monitor work for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Perform regular inspections and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Ensure proper use of materials and tools.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and records of work progress.
• Communicate effectively with the project manager about delays, risks, and required adjustments.
• Assist in preparing punch lists and project closeouts.

Safety Compliance:

• Enforce site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Respond to and document safety incidents appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Ability to read construction documents.
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
• Ability to speak Spanish.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction supervision or a related role.
• Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
