Job summary

BAHA Construction is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on our projects. You will promote safety, coordinate the construction process, and ensure timely, budget-conscious completion.

Responsibilities include developing Look Ahead schedules, working with engineers, architects, and subcontractors, managing material logistics, labor planning, and obtaining permits while enforcing building codes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• 30-hour OSHA certification is required.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and project documents is required.
• Scheduling experience is required.
• Prefer 10 years of experience as a Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Promote job-site safety.
• Coordinate and supervise the construction process through final construction, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Develop and distribute 'Look Ahead' schedules to subcontractors.
• Work with all parties, including Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Laborers, and others involved in the construction process.
• Determine the best way to get materials to the building site and the most cost-effective plan and schedule for completing the project.
• Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Determine the labor requirements.
• Oversee the performance of all subcontractors and ensure that all work is completed on schedule.
• Oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety; and the quality of construction.
• Responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and monitoring compliance with building and safety codes, other regulations, and requirements.
• All other duties as required.
