Stuart & Company General Contractors is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead daily field operations, supervise subcontractors and onsite crews, ensuring safe, high‑quality work on schedule.

You will develop look‑ahead schedules, coordinate deliveries and inspections, enforce OSHA standards, document progress, and mentor the team while aligning with project managers and stakeholders across Louisiana projects.

The Construction Superintendent leads daily onsite operations by supervising subcontractors and field personnel to ensure project plans are executed efficiently and safely. This role involves coordinating trades, managing schedules, and resolving conflicts to maintain timelines and quality standards. The position requires overseeing site logistics, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory inspections. Effective communication with project managers and stakeholders is essential to provide timely updates and support informed decision‑making. This leadership role fosters continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout all construction phases.

What You Bring

• Expertise in scheduling, including developing look‑ahead schedules and adjusting sequencing to meet project timelines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to resolve field conflicts and implement design changes effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating inspections, reporting progress, and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members to achieve performance goals.
• Commitment to integrity, ethics, and supporting company values in all aspects of work.
• Experience with systems such as Wrike are preferred, but not necessary
