The role requires overseeing punch lists, supplier coordination, pre-construction meetings, and progress updates, while maintaining compliance with plans, codes, and purchase orders. Strong communication and dependable performance are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Compile and resolve punch list items.
• Perform final walk-through with customer.
• Secure signed Completion of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings with customers.
• Provide project updates (daily narrative) to customers and clients.
• Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Ensure all work complies with plans, specs, local codes, and scope requirements.
• Document project activities in the job file (WC 2.0).
• Execute change orders.
• Set expectations on a project-by-project basis.
• Maintain quality through site inspections.
• Evaluate and rate vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Ensure materials match purchases.
• Ensure subcontractors complete work per PO.
• Validate schedule and progress.
• Identify areas outside contracted scope.

Summary

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of construction projects and for delivering a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in performing construction services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Compile and resolve punch list items
• Perform final walk‑through with customer

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma/GED

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Walking and/or standing throughout the day
• Frequent driving and sitting
• Occasionally climbing ladders
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat
• The noise level at individual jobsites can be loud

Background Check

Ability to successfully complete a Servpro required background check and drug screen subject to applicable law.

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements

This is a full‑time position, working 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), working on‑call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local, but some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected.

Compensation

Base salary plus a commission structure. Salary range listed refers only to the base salary portion of the pay package. Eligible for performance‑based commission paid on Project Gross Profit (typically 1‑4% of GP, higher rates for stronger project margins). Commissions are paid the month following project completion, full payment, and internal approvals.
