Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Multifamily Construction Superintendent in Detroit, MI to oversee end-to-end multifamily projects. You will manage subcontractors, supervise safety and quality, and coordinate schedules and budgets across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, plus excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multifamily construction projects from inception to completion.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and codes compliance.
• Create and maintain project schedules with project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs.
• Lead daily meetings to review progress and address issues.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design/construction challenges.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on site.

Job Details

• As a Multifamily Construction Superintendent, you will:
• Oversee daily operations of multifamily construction projects from inception to completion
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
