CPG in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Construction Superintendent I to oversee field operations, keep the jobsite clean and safe, and manage daily carpentry and housekeeping tasks to support project progress.
The role enforces safety and quality control policies, supervises subcontractors, coordinates with vendors, and ensures on-site coordination and timely maintenance. Travel up to 75% (3–4 weeks on site, one remote week or relocation).
The Construction Superintendent I supports all field operations to ensure that the jobsite is clean, orderly and maintained in a safe condition. The primary objective is to maintain the project in a professional and orderly manner and labor for miscellaneous carpentry and housekeeping items are managed daily. Superintendents also implement and enforce safety and quality control policies among CPG employees and subcontractors. Essential duties include but are not limited to:

Project Superintendent shall supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors daily. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed. This position shall be responsible for monitoring project security personnel.
Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent use of hands to fingers, and ability to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate written or online documentation. Involves frequent contact with staff. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Positions requiring driving must have an MVR that meets company and insurance carrier standards.

Pay Range: $65,013 - $97,580 per year
