Job summary

NDC Commercial Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations across a variety of projects throughout Central Connecticut and surrounding areas. You will own on-site execution, safety, schedule, and quality while coordinating subcontractors and clients directly in the field.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a hands-on, adaptable approach. If you thrive in a lean, collaborative environment and enjoy working beyond the jobsite, this role

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of construction experience.
• Strong superintendent/assistant superintendent background.
• Experience with interior renovations or commercial construction.
• Ground-up construction experience welcomed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and team-oriented leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate subs, vendors, teams, and clients.
• Oversee projects from $75K to $5M+.
• Work on interior renovations, fit-outs, healthcare, education, banking, veterinary, and commercial.
• Communicate directly with clients and represent NDC professionally.
• Assist with estimating, bidding, planning, and preconstruction.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and the General Superintendent.
• Jump between projects based on business needs.
