Sleiman Construction is a South Florida Commercial General Contractor focused on interior renovations, small additions, interior demolition, and interior concrete. We build in Government, Healthcare, and Office environments where safety, quality, and integrity are non‑negotiable.
Role Summary
We’re hiring an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations across commercial interior renovation projects ($1M–$3M). This is a field‑first leadership role with full ownership of your job site—from pre‑construction through closeout. You will be responsible for safety, quality, schedule, coordination, and execution. This is not a support role—you run the job.
Responsibilities
- You will be the single point of accountability for on‑site project delivery.
- Full field leadership from pre‑construction walk‑throughs through final closeout and turnover.
- Daily coordination of subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and self‑perform crews.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant job site at all times.
- Build and manage short‑interval schedules; own the three‑week look‑ahead.
- Verify quantities and work‑in‑place before approving sub progress.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control in Procore.
- Run daily huddles, coordinate with the project manager, and keep the owner informed.
- Execute pre‑punch, punch, and closeout to specs and on schedule.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a field superintendent on commercial interior renovation or tenant improvement projects.
- Can read and interpret plans, specs, and shop drawings without hand‑holding.
- Can calculate field quantities: concrete volumes (CF to CY), material takeoffs, coverage rates.
- Understands construction documents: drawing index, notice of commencement, permits, AHJ requirements.
- Can build and maintain a CPM schedule in MS Project.
- Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Based in South Florida with reliable transportation; U.S. work authorization.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
Non‑negotiables
- Show up every day, on time, ready to lead.
- Take full ownership of your job site: safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
- Communicate proactively. No surprises. Problems get flagged early, not buried.
- Hold subcontractors accountable to scope, schedule, and workmanship.
- Document everything: daily logs, photos, safety reports, punch lists.
Benefits
- Salary: $80,000–$100,000 depending on experience.
- Vehicle allowance + phone + gas card.
- 401(k) retirement plan (after 90 days).
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (after 60 days).
- Clear growth path: run bigger projects, mentor junior field staff, grow into a senior superintendent role.
- A company that is building real systems (SOPs, Procore workflows, structured field ops) so you can focus on building, not chasing paperwork.
