Job summary

OAKLEY BUILDING COMPANY LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role collaborates with the Project Manager to resolve constructability issues and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on-site.

You will manage daily field operations, maintain current project schedules, and build strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors while mentoring junior superintendents and supporting

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction industry experience.
• Experience with self-storage projects.
• Ability to meet project deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Proven experience leading, training, and developing teams.
• Proficiency with construction-related technology.
• Ability to support a growing organization and manage complex project execution.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all phases of construction projects.
• Collaborating with the Project Manager to resolve constructability issues and scope gaps.
• Participating in final reviews of project scope and schedule.
• Ensuring compliance with owner, landlord, and regulatory requirements to prevent delays and maintain safety.
• Managing daily field operations, including site safety, quality control, progress tracking, and site cleanliness.
• Maintaining accurate and current project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Understanding and anticipating client needs to consistently exceed expectations.
• Communicating effectively with project teams regarding changes, job conditions, and subcontractor coordination.
• Fostering positive, professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Managing the punch list process to ensure timely completion.
• Participating in company training initiatives and mentoring assistant superintendents.

Responsibilities include:
