Job summary

Amicus Talent Group is seeking an experienced Fiber Cabling Superintendent to lead a major data center construction project on site in Indiana. This full-time, site-based role offers an excellent per diem package for traveling candidates.

The ideal candidate brings recent data center or mission critical construction experience, deep fiber optic and structured cabling expertise, and proven supervision of field crews and subcontractors. The position demands strong leadership and on-site commitment.

Qualifications

• Recent data center or mission critical construction experience is essential.
• Strong fiber optic cabling and structured cabling experience.
• Previous Superintendent, Field Superintendent or Lead Supervisor experience.
• Experience with fiber backbone installation, splicing, termination and testing.
• Strong low-voltage / telecom construction knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors and field teams.
• Strong understanding of data center construction sequencing.
• General Contractor, Construction Manager or major specialty contractor background preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work full-time on site.

• Coordinate fiber pathways, racks, cabinets, terminations and testing.
• Supervise subcontractors and field crews.
• Manage fiber splicing, certification and testing.

• Drive daily site coordination, sequencing and progress.
• Monitor quality, safety and installation standards.
• Support commissioning, turnover and project closeout.
• Report progress, risks and field issues to project leadership.

We are recruiting an experienced Fiber Cabling Superintendent to join a major data center construction project.

This is a full-time, site-based role with an excellent per diem package available for candidates travelling to the project.

Recent data center construction experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee fiber optic cabling and structured cabling installation
