Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Civil & Structural Construction Representative to oversee civil and structural construction activities for utility-scale solar projects as the Owner's Representative. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule, and performance standards are met while coordinating with EPC contractors and project teams.

The role emphasizes field oversight, QA/QC inspections, and active participation in safety and progress reviews for large-scale renewable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of industrial Civil & Structural Construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering prints.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, planning, and progress reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Now Hiring: Civil & Structural Construction Representative

We are seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Construction Representative to join our renewable energy team and oversee the civil and structural construction activities for utility-scale solar projects. In this role, you will act as the Owner's Representative, ensuring the EPC contractor delivers work that meets the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review safety documents, procedures, and policies.
• Review contract documents and project scope of work.
• Review civil and mechanical drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure SWPPP is installed and maintained in accordance with permit requirements.
• Verify the EPC conducts pre-construction meetings for new work activities.
• Review civil and mechanical inspection checklists.
• Attend EPC safety meetings, toolbox talks, and management meetings.
• Perform daily field walks and site observations with construction crews.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and construction walkdowns.
• Monitor EPC document uploads in Unifier.
• Complete QA/QC inspections in Unifier based on project milestones and inspection frequency.
• Track and follow up on open action items and punch list activities.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of industrial experience in Civil & Structural Construction.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or renewable energy projects is highly preferred.
