Job summary

Josephs Remodeling Solutions is seeking a hands-on Superintendent/ Project Leader to guide high-end remodeling projects in Tennessee. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client coordination with architects and designers, ensuring craftsmanship and safety on-site.

The role requires strong leadership with 5+ years in remodeling, plus proficiency with construction management tools. We offer bonuses and a collaborative team atmosphere in Marion County region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of remodeling experience and leadership experience required.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, tile and various trades is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on position working alongside team members.
• Manage and produce projects on time and on budget
• Follow direction; can work from building plans and blueprints and communicate with architects and designers.
• Supervise/manage/service subcontractors and customers
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and works well with homeowners in the high-end remodeling market
• Daily oversight of the progress on the project, including scheduling, ordering materials, and other needed jobsite resources
• Layout and install stairs, doors, windows, trim, cabinets, kitchens, and baths
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, composite, drywall, and other materials
• Construct framing for additions, decks, porches, and remodeling projects
• Perform finish carpentry work
• Diagnose and remedy older structures in need of repair or renovation
• Comprehend and execute tasks in a precise and timely manner
• Seek additional responsibility and guidance from company management as needed to enhance existing skills, learn new skills, and create potential advancement within the company
• Work safely at all times and wear company-provided safety gear as required. Supervise safety of the team. Lead weekly safety meetings.
• Maintain and complete any and all company-required paperwork related to the project
• Review and verify accuracy of electronic timesheets of the team.
• Post daily job logs in the construction management app.

About Us

We are a comprehensive remodeling company of dedicated craftsman located in Marion County, Tennessee. Guided by the steady hand of Joseph Sumpter, owner, and licensed contractor, Josephs Remodeling Solutions is raising the bar for home remodeling and renovations on the Cumberland Plateau in Sewanee, Monteagle, and the surrounding area.

Salary and Benefits

• Full time
• Pay: $24-30 per hour Based on Experience

• Computer and smart-phone literate. Proficient with construction management software and email
• BuilderTrend and Exaktime knowledge is highly desirable but not required
• Framing experience
• Custom carpentry experience
• Interior and exterior remodeling including window and door replacements
• Cabinet and Flooring installation experience a plus
• Good organizational and time management skills
• All prospective hires are required to complete a pre-employment drug screening as well as a background check
