Summit Reconstruction is a rapidly growing construction company with a focus on quality of work and exceptional customer service. Our company is a leader in apartment and condominium rehabilitation and repairs, with many of the largest management companies in Portland/Vancouver area. We have a hard-working, family oriented, & fun culture.
We are currently hiring a Construction Superintendent for exterior work within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area. Full Time 40 hours+ per week.
Responsibilities:
● Manage projects from start to finish including all aspects of quality, workflow, and customer satisfaction
● Understand plans, details, specifications, project manual, and other pertinent documents
● Manage crew and subcontractor schedule from site
● Select crew leaders and crew
● Coordinate subcontractors
● Written notification and client communication as necessary to perform work
● Answer client questions and concerns
● Order materials & supplies
● Ensure safety and PPE is being followed by all crew and subcontractors
● Understand weekly budgets and relay to crew as necessary
● Inform PM of any needed scope or value changes
● Call for inspections. Interface with inspectors, clients, and site visitors.
● Keep daily job logs as directed
● Accurately track crew & subcontractor time
● Ensure ALL equipment (including but not limited to Summit owned, subcontractor owned, and rental) is safe and functional.
● Open & close job site
● Submit weekly paperwork including but not limited to: credit card & account receipts, subcontractor timecards, safety meetings, project schedule & plan, photo chip card, budget tracking.
Required Skills & Experience:
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Experience managing crews and subcontractors
● The ability to manage multiple projects at a time and track jobs to a budget
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Bilingual
● Experience with Sage/Timberline software, Microsoft, Google Drive
● General project estimation
● Ability to inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain carpentry services
● Have reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites in and around Portland/Vancouver area. Must have your own basic tools.
● Capable of working effectively amongst diverse teams and manage multiple tasks at once
