The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively maintain and improve the onsite construction activities for the company and project through performance, scheduling, participation in meetings with subcontractors and government representatives, and interaction with key company personnel, Government representatives, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

· Directing Subcontractor work to keep in compliance with project schedule

· Developing and reviewing all AHA, jobsite conditions and methods of construction.

· Develop and maintain 3-week look ahead schedule

· Daily site inspections and reports of work

· Hold daily and weekly site meetings with each trade project wide

· Hold Preparatory Meetings with each trade over each specification section, including safety review of work being done.

· Keep designated government personnel and management staff apprised of status of work.

· Build a strong team through making and maintaining relationships with all staff onsite.

Qualifications

· 5+ years' Construction Superintendent experience

· 10+ years’ Government construction experience

· High Competency with all phases of construction

· Minimum certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR

· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
