Job Details

We are seeking a Commercial Fit-Out Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial interior fit-out projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site
• Direct and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain daily logs of activities and site conditions
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and comply with regulations
• Monitor construction processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Investigate and address any accidents, damages, or delays at the construction site
• Communication and Coordination
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to discuss and resolve project-related matters
• Prepare and submit progress reports, cost tracking reports, and budget estimates
• Coordinate with project managers and other superintendents to ensure alignment across projects
  
  

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial fit-out projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Understanding of local and federal construction regulations
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction
