LaRosa Building Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead on-site supervision of multifamily and commercial projects in Connecticut. The role requires coordinating trade contractors, daily logs, and closeout documentation, with a strong focus on safety and schedule adherence.

• 10+ years related supervisory experience in construction.
• Ability to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and produce an exceptional project.
• Experience supervising commercial projects from $1,000,000 to $25,000,000.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
• High School Degree.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and supervise all trade contractors on site.
• Maintain daily logs, attend job meetings, maintain as-builts and closeout docs.
• Assist in resolving construction problems and ensuring safety.
• Hold weekly progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate progress.
• Maintain accurate As-Built drawings and implement QC program.

Responsibilities

Responsibilitieswillincludebutnotlimitedtoscheduling,coordinatingandsupervisingalltradecontractorsonsite.Maintaindailylogs,attendjobmeetings,maintainasbuilt’sandcloseoutdocs.Assistinresolvingconstructionproblems.Qualifiedapplicantsmusthaveknowledgeofallaspectsofconstruction.

  • CultivateaworkingrelationshipwithProjectManagers,ProjectLaborers,TradeContractorsandclientsinamannerthatencouragesacooperative,teameffortandprofessionalapproach.
  • Ensureprojectquality,cost,andschedulemeetorbeatestimates.
  • ServesasaliaisonbetweentheOwner,Architect,Engineer,ContractorandSubcontractortoresolvequestionsand/orconcernsarisingduringthecourseofconstruction.
  • AssisttheProjectManagerinpreparationofaggressivebutrealisticconstructionschedules.
  • Reviews,plansandscheduleswithProjectManagertoobtainpersonnel,materialandequipmentneedsandsubcontractorperformanceinamannerconsistentwithscheduledrequirements,budgetedcostandtimelydeliveries.
  • EnsurethatSafetyregulationsandSafepracticesarefollowedatalltimes.
  • Responsibleforimplementing,maintainingandenforcingallprojectsafetyprocedures.
  • Completeprojectrecords,includingdailyprojectprogressreportsandcrewtimesheets.
  • Holdweeklyjobprogressmeetingswithallsubcontractorstocoordinateprojectprogress.
  • MaintainaccurateAs-Builtdrawings.
  • ImplementQualityControlProgram.
