The ideal candidate has 2–10 years of commercial construction experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore. OSHA 30 and a construction-degree preference are noted.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent for a General Contractor preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specifications.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and job-site safety requirements.
• Knowledge of project schedules and critical path activities.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial and multifamily projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work progresses as planned.
• Coordinate sequencing of trades to maintain momentum.
• Review plans, specs, and drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Conduct site meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Monitor quality control and ensure work meets plans and specs.
• Enforce OSHA safety policies and maintain a safe site.
• Track manpower, materials, deliveries, and equipment.
• Identify issues early and develop corrective solutions.
• Coordinate inspections with local building officials.
• Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Maintain daily field reports and documentation.
• Communicate progress and schedule updates to management.
• Perform quality-control inspections and address deficiencies promptly.
• Assist with project closeout, punch lists, inspections, and turnover.

Our client is seeking a mid-level Commercial Construction Superintendent with a strong background in multifamily construction. The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, maintain project schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience managing ground-up or major renovation multifamily projects and is comfortable taking ownership of the field operations from mobilization through completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial and multifamily construction projects
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work is progressing according to plan
• Coordinate sequencing of trades to maintain project momentum
• Review plans, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and constructability
• Conduct regular site meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications
• Enforce company and OSHA safety policies and maintain a safe job site
• Track manpower, materials, deliveries, and equipment
• Identify potential project issues and develop solutions before they impact the schedule
• Coordinate inspections and work with local building officials and inspectors

Multifamily Project Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience with multifamily construction, including some combination of:

• Ground-up multifamily developments
• Apartments and residential communities
• Student housing
• Affordable housing
• Senior living
• Mid-rise and high-rise buildings
• Multifamily renovations and repositioning
• Interior build-outs and unit renovations
• Amenity spaces and common areas

Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing complex multifamily construction schedules is highly preferred.
