Job summary

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field activities within our Industrial Building Group, overseeing projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.

You will report to the General Superintendent, manage budgets and safety, coordinate with project management, and ensure on-time delivery for ground-up facilities valued around $20M+. Must be willing to travel about 25% and pass background/drug tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent.
• Experience as a Superintendent on ground-up projects of at least $20M in size.
• Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
• Ability to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Have an in-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
• Must be self-driven, motivated and possess the ability to work effectively and independently.
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Must be available to work overtime, possibly including weekends as needed.
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to Baldwin & Shell standards and processes.

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is searching for an experienced Superintendent who will thrive in our Industrial Building Group. Our Industrial Building Group provides full service industrial & manufacturing plant construction & construction management.

The Superintendent plays a key management role in the organization and implementation of the project from start to finish in the field. The Superintendent reports directly to the General Superintendent and works closely with the Project Management staff on all aspects of the project.
