Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in Houston is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Interiors Division, overseeing corporate office tenant improvement projects across the Houston area.

In this role you will lead on-site construction management, coordinate subcontractors, review drawings, ensure safety and quality, and partner with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality, on-time projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial interior construction.
• Strong background in corporate office tenant improvements.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on fast-paced renovations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for corporate office tenant improvements from start to finish.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to meet schedule and budget.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site while enforcing safety standards.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure work meets project requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and clients throughout the process.
• Manage project schedules, daily reports, inspections, and quality control.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
