Wilshire Pacific Builders is an Arizona-based company specializing in the construction and renovation of multifamily housing projects throughout the US. We are currently seeking to hire a Project Superintendent.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, goal-oriented superintendent to join our fast-growing team. Our projects are fast-paced and require great attention to detail.

The main function of the General Superintendent is to supervise the day-to-day operations of our multifamily housing renovation projects. The role involves supporting and following directions from the Project Executive, Project Managers, and Ownership, with an emphasis on renovation and remodeling projects.

Requirements

1. Experience in construction renovations with the ability to manage multiple vendors and subcontractors. Strong coordination, control, and deadline management skills are essential.
2. Ability to read and understand residential blueprints and job specifications, and process necessary documentation.
3. Effective communication skills with management, customers, vendors, and subcontractors via email, phone, and daily logs. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and daily use of computers, cameras, printers, and cellphones is required.
4. Ability to track punch list issues until completion and sign-off.
5. Understanding of job site management, including tasks, deadlines, and team coordination. Leadership skills are crucial.
6. This is a skilled labor and management position. Ability to manage tasks such as millwork, carpentry, framing, light plumbing, electrical, drywall, and other trades. Experience with exterior work and ADA concrete requirements is a plus.
7. Flexibility to work off hours as needed; typical schedule is M-F 8-5.
8. Multifamily housing renovation experience is preferred. We are willing to train candidates with the right attitude, work ethic, communication, and leadership skills.
