Bernard Nickels & Associates is seeking a Site Construction Manager in Edwardsville, IL to lead renewable energy construction projects. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate design and procurement, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining client satisfaction.

You will work with engineering teams, monitor schedules, review bids, and provide accurate forecasts. Strong communication and project controls experience are essential for success in this role.

Competenze

• Minimum five years of project management experience in electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction.
• Experience with renewable energy projects, specifically photovoltaics (PV).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of project management experience in electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction.
• Specialization: Proven focus on renewable energy projects, specifically Photovoltaics (PV).

Preferred Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Technical Knowledge: Experience with energy efficiency disciplines (e.g., digital controls, VFDs, high-efficiency motors, central plants, and lighting retrofits).
• Safety & Regulatory: Strong familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction industry codes.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and MS Project.
