Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field teams in Dallas, TX for concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing and structural strengthening projects. You will work with Project Managers and division leaders, plan tasks, allocate resources, and ensure safe, compliant execution across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring crews, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years in general construction with at least 5 years as Foreman or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience running 4 projects simultaneously, preferably in commercial construction.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and contract specs.
• Strong dedication to safety and adherence to operating principles.
• Proven ability to prepare look-ahead schedules and work with construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field leaders, foremen, and the open-shop team.
• Participate in pre-project and pre-task planning and disseminate plans to crews.
• Motivate and coordinate crews, assign work, and manage resources.
• Ensure safe, proper, and productive use of tools and equipment.
• Provide training and guidance to crews; assist PMs with production rate evaluations.
• Complete essential paperwork accurately and on time.
• Interview and hire field employees; provide leadership on safety culture.
• Communicate effectively with customers, crews, and project teams.

STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.We are currently recruiting for a Construction Superintendent to be based out of our Dallas, TX office for our Structural Intermountain team. As Superintendent you will be responsible for providing high level management to other field leaders, Foreman as well as our open-shop that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer.
