Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Superintendent to lead field crews from our Salt Lake City office. You will work closely with Project Managers and division leaders to plan, schedule, and execute concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening projects.

You will drive safety, performance, and quality by implementing Work Orders, Quality Plans, and look-ahead schedules while mentoring crews and coordinating with other teams on multi-project environments.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in general construction with at least 3 years in a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent role.
• Prior experience on Industrial sites.
• Experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, and related repair work.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction crews and coordinate work to complete projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and division leaders on planning and execution.
• Participate in pre-project planning and disseminate details to field crews.
• Generate, review, and implement Work Orders and Quality Plans.
• Motivate teams, coordinate with other activities, and assign tasks.
• Ensure safe operation of tools and equipment; promote STAR and SCWE culture.
• Provide training and assistance to crews.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates.
• Complete essential paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Interview and hire new field employees.
• Provide leadership to the Safety 24/7 culture.
• Read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and contracts.

STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.We are currently recruiting for a Superintendent to be based out of our Salt Lake City office which is located in North Salt Lake City.As a Superintendent for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for leading construction crews that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer.
