Responsibilities: This person will support a GC/owners rep firm and will initially start on a $200M student housing project for the university of Cincinnati.

• Provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors
• Monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance
• Manage subcontractor daily production reports
• Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager
• Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations
• Assist subcontractors with Federal procedures and rules
• Ensure contractors complete work on schedule while addressing warranty issues
• Communicate daily status of current projects to Project Manager to ensure all projects are timely and within the company standards
• Maintain 100% safety standards and accountability in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements
• Take necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe
• Report and address all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly
• Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements
• Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process
• Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications
• Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken and recurrence of problems is eliminated or minimized
• Conduct pre-final inspections, establish a punch list if required, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected
• Submit as-builts on finished projects

Job Type

• This is a contract to hire position where Actalent Services will employ this person for the initial 6 months prior to this person transitioning as a direct employee. This person will receive full benefits, PTO, holiday pay and access to 401k while working as an Actalent employee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $52.88/hr.
