Position Summary – Infrastructure Engineer - Linux

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Linux systems to join our team. The role involves managing and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, performance, and security. Collaboration with IT, development, and operations teams is essential to support and improve our infrastructure.

Skills and Requirements:

• Self-starter with a proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with stakeholder groups including technical, product, business, and vendor teams.
• Proven experience in Linux system administration and engineering.
• Desired: Experience with Linux tools such as Ansible, AIX, and GPFS/Storage Scale.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage and maintain Linux systems.
• Ability to anticipate and manage risks transparently.
• Independent, solution-oriented worker.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with VMWare.
• Local candidates in the Cincinnati region preferred.
• Availability for travel to Blue Ash Technical Center during critical deployments.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues for high availability.

• Manage risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues when necessary.
