Job summary

Essel seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations from inception to completion in California. You will manage subcontractors, read plans, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, architects and engineers, maintaining rigorous reporting, and resolving construction challenges promptly. A strong background in Tenant Improvements and Procore is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent required.
• Experience with Office Tenant Improvement preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.

Essel is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction operations and coordinate subcontractors.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Must have experience with Office Tenant Improvement
• Must have strong background in Microsoft projects and Procore.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
