Job summary

Adair Homes seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the on-your-lot home building process, overseeing 8–10 homes across multiple sites while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

You will manage plans, schedules, and trades, travel between active job sites, and coordinate with homeowners and teams to drive projects to completion. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction or homebuilding.
  • Experience managing multiple homes or projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between active job sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and sound field judgment.
  • Comfort using technology to manage schedules and project information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction of approximately 8–10 homes on scattered customer-owned lots.
  • Oversee each project from start through completion.
  • Manage construction according to plans, specifications, scopes of work, and quality standards.
  • Build, maintain, and drive construction schedules to keep homes progressing on time.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and building jurisdictions.
  • Visit active job sites regularly to monitor progress, quality, safety, and readiness for the next phase.
  • Identify and resolve construction challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal partners.
  • Communicate proactively with homeowners and help create a great customer experience throughout construction.
  • Ensure safe building practices and maintain required safety documentation.
  • Resolve construction and warranty-related issues in partnership with homeowners and internal teams.
  • Take ownership of your homes and follow through on commitments from start to finish.

What You’ll Do
