Job summary

Metric Geo is partnering with a leading design-build contractor specializing in modular cleanrooms, controlled environments, and mission-critical facilities, seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations from preconstruction through project completion.

The role oversees projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing sectors, requires 5 years in supervision, OSHA familiarity, and the ability to travel 100% to sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, or mission-critical projects.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to travel 100% to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Attend preconstruction and kickoff meetings.
• Review scope, schedule, and milestones with the PM before mobilization.
• Coordinate jobsite setup, logistics, and site safety.
• Manage daily field operations for safety and quality.
• Supervise subcontractors, field crews, and trade partners.
• Coordinate installations to maintain schedules.
• Build relationships with clients, inspectors, engineers, stakeholders.
• Ensure work meets quality, contract documents, and regulations.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and materials utilization.
• Generate short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Verify materials, equipment, and resources are available on schedule.
• Maintain daily reports, production tracking, and site records.
• Lead daily safety briefings and toolbox talks; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Resolve field issues; communicate updates to PM.
• Support closeout, punch lists, and turnover.
• Perform other construction duties as required.

Metric Geo is partnering with a leading design-build contractor specializing in modular cleanrooms, controlled environments, and mission-critical facilities, on the search for an experienced Construction Superintendent. This is an opportunity to lead innovative projects across the pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing sectors while overseeing field operations from preconstruction through project completion.

Responsibilities

• Attend all required preconstruction and project kickoff meetings
• Review project scope, schedule, and milestones with the Project Manager before mobilization
• Coordinate jobsite setup, logistics, and site safety prior to construction activities
• Manage daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications
• Supervise subcontractors, field crews, and trade partners throughout all phases of construction
• Coordinate installation activities to maintain project schedules and minimize disruptions
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, engineers, and project stakeholders
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, contract documents, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization to maximize productivity
• Generate and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules to support project execution
• Verify that all required materials, equipment, and resources are available as scheduled
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production tracking, site documentation, and project records
• Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively while communicating updates to the Project Management team
• Support project closeout activities, punch list completion, and final turnover to the client
• Perform other construction-related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (Construction Management or related education preferred)
• 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, or mission-critical projects
• Cleanroom experience an advantage!
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel 100%
