The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with AR/AP, job costing, and subcontractor billing. Construction industry familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or financial operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial record keeping.
• Experience with AR, AP, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: enter invoices, route for coding, and match to PO/subcontract/delivery receipts.
• Subcontractor Compliance: collect lien waivers and maintain vendor docs.
• Payments: prepare checks/ACH, ensure alignment with pay apps and contracts.
• Vendor Management: maintain vendor files, reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies.
• Recordkeeping & Support: organize AP docs, assist with 1099 data, support month-end close.
