Job summary

Bali Construction, Inc is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the monthly close, oversee AP/AR, and provide accounting support to the Controller. The role includes hands-on project accounting within the construction environment and opportunities to grow expertise in construction accounting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 1–2 years of accounting experience, with preference for construction industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience; prior construction industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close and GL reconciliations.
• Equipment and field imports and allocations.
• Verify, allocate, and post transactions.
• Credit card reconciliations.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Loan and depreciation schedule reconciliations.
• Review A/P and A/R transaction coding.
• Financial statement prep.
• Review financial reports for accuracy before publishing.
• Office Connector reports.
• Ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Research accounting and transaction questions from team members.
