Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Construction Specialist to support MEP projects on site. You will assist with material handling, site preparation, and basic tasks like trenching and wiring under guidance from skilled tradespeople.

You will collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams, ensuring safety and organization. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow across trades while contributing to a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred, but not required (training will be provided).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
• Willingness to learn and support multiple trades (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
• Strong work ethic and reliability; commitment to workplace safety.
• Demonstrate teamwork and ability to follow on-site instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material handling: unloading, distributing, and staging on site.
• Support site preparation and clean-up to maintain a safe, organized area.
• Perform basic tasks: trenching, pulling wire, conduit setup, equipment placement under supervision.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams for general labor across trades.
• Assist with project documentation like labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting.
