Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Construction Specialist to support MEP projects on site and contribute to efficient, safe job sites. You will gain hands-on experience across trades, assist with material handling, and help document site activities.

No prior construction experience is required; training is provided. This role offers growth through our Apprenticeship Program and a clear path to develop foundational skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work while collaborating with seasoned

Qualifications

  • Prior construction or labor experience preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Willingness to learn across multiple trades (M, E, P).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams with material handling, including unloading, distributing, and staging materials on site.
  • Assist with site preparation and clean-up, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform basic tasks such as trenching, pulling wire, conduit support, equipment setup, and tool handling.
  • Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams to provide general labor support across trades.
  • Follow safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe worksite for everyone.
  • Learn and apply basic construction techniques to prepare for growth opportunities within the trades.
  • Support project documentation needs such as labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting.

  • Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams to provide general labor support across trades
  • Follow safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe worksite for everyone
  • Learn and apply basic construction techniques to prepare for growth opportunities within the trades
  • Support project documentation needs such as labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting
