Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead and coordinate complex facility projects across Texas and the Southwest. You will manage multiple jobs, organize teams, plan schedules, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Your role requires strong leadership and deep knowledge of construction processes. You will oversee safety, quality, and budgets while collaborating with Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering, and Project Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Construction Superintendent certification is preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, coordination and BIM drawings, submittals, specifications, details and job orders.
• Leadership and time management skills.
• Ability to plan and see the 'big picture'.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects and offers technical expertise to partners to ensure adherence to construction processes for safe and high-quality project completion.
• Manages, coaches, and develops direct reports, conducting timely and meaningful performance management conversations to support professional growth.
• Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedules utilizing knowledge of tools/equipment capacities and assigned personnel.
• Confirms earned value of work and accuracy of Forecasted Percent Completions.
• Inspects work in progress and completed work periodically to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Performs all required safety observations and eliminates construction and job site hazards as they are recognized to reduce safety incidents.
• Understands and practices Quality/LEAN/reliability principles.
• Ability to budget projects by estimating worker hour requirements to meet the construction schedule and project budget.
• Assists in resolving construction problems and advises on potential issues.
• Maintains liaison with other departments to ensure materials, inspections, and support for craft activities.
• Conducts pre-job and continued planning meetings to ensure all project team understand terms and schedules.
