Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. invites civil engineering students to join our summer Construction Solutions internship in Fort Wayne, IN. You’ll use tools like Microsoft Office, Appia, SiteManager, and BlueBeam and contribute to roads, bridges, and utility systems projects that benefit communities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Land Surveying, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license for transportation to the office and project sites.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors, designers, utility companies, and local residents to keep projects on track.
• Gain hands-on experience with material testing for asphalt, concrete, aggregates, and soils.
• Visit construction sites daily to observe activities, document progress, and ensure alignment with plans.
• Use Microsoft Office, Appia, SiteManager, and BlueBeam to organize and report project information.
• Support real construction projects involving roads, bridges, and utilities and assist with meetings and reporting.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Land Surveying, Structural Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Civil Engineering

• Reliable personal vehicle and a valid Driver's License for transportation to the office and between project sites

• Strong work ethic, clear communication skills, and a genuine eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
