• Students majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Surveying, Structural Engineering, or related programs with a focus on Civil Engineering
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for travel to project sites
• Strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Indianapolis Department of Public Works to research data and records for regulatory compliance
• Use GIS, client databases, and historic records to uncover important project information
• Gain insight into working as a consultant in a client-focused environment and communicate professional results
• Conduct research, summarize findings, and help prepare permit applications, technical exhibits, design drawings, and inspection records
• Support the team with other tasks as needed

American Structurepoint's Utility Infrastructure Group is seeking candidates to join us for our summer internship program in Indianapolis, IN! As a Utility Infrastructure Intern, you'll work alongside engineers on real utility projects, including water and stormwater systems-gaining hands-on experience through design work, calculations, and field visits. You'll support both office tasks and construction activities in the field, all while developing essential skills through structured training.
