Job summary

Chesapeake College in Cambridge is seeking a Basic Construction Skills Instructor for an entry-level course in the workforce development program. The role requires a commitment of two evenings per week from September to December and January to April, and all materials will be provided.

Ideal candidates will have experience in an actual construction environment, knowledge of safety equipment, and skills in using hand and power tools along with basic math and communication skills. This is a wonderful opportunity to train newcomers in the trades.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in an actual construction environment.
• Basic understanding of safety equipment and use of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of basic math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach an entry-level construction skills course (CORE) for workforce development.
• Commitment is two nights per week from September to December and January to April.
