Jennings Mechanical in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for construction and skilled trades. You will actively source candidates, build pipelines, and partner with hiring managers to fill roles across trades, project management, and office positions.

You'll develop relationships with tradespeople and represent Jennings at career fairs and events while shaping our recruiting strategy in a growing mechanical contracting environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience within construction, mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another skilled-trades environment.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting skilled trades or construction professionals.
• Experience managing multiple openings at the same time.
• Ability to actively source candidates rather than relying solely on job applications.

Responsabilités

• Own recruiting for assigned positions from job opening through offer.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand what they actually need.
• Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, trade schools, and other channels.
• Conduct resume reviews and initial phone screens.
• Coordinate interviews and keep candidates moving through the process.
• Build pipelines for hard-to-fill positions before we desperately need someone.
• Develop relationships with skilled tradespeople, construction professionals, and other potential candidates.
• Represent Jennings at career fairs, trade schools, and recruiting events.
• Help strengthen Jennings' reputation as an employer of choice within the construction and skilled-trades community.
• Track recruiting activity and help us understand what's working—and what isn't.
• Find new ways to reach candidates who aren't sitting around waiting for a job posting.
