Job summary

American Community Developers Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily construction activities across Detroit metro area projects.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site personnel, and help ensure schedules and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate has at least two years in a construction trade, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Office and construction management tools.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Minimum of two years of experience in a construction trade.
• Relevant construction experience for Assistant Superintendent positions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is beneficial.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor project schedules and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
