Securitas US Business Unit in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Construction Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for clients by monitoring premises, managing access, and patrolling diverse locations. The role emphasizes enforcing site directives for personnel, visitors, and assets while delivering professional customer service.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, holds a high school diploma or GED, demonstrates strong communication and leadership, and can stay composed under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and above.
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills required.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Interact with client employees and guests on a regular basis.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct property tours.
• Carry out additional tasks as required for the site.
