Job summary

DK Security is seeking security officers to join our Michigan team. We offer day, evening, and overnight shifts across multiple locations. This unarmed position emphasizes professional conduct, strong customer service, and safety assurance in building lobbies, reception areas, and common spaces.

Wage is $17.60 per hour with flexibility to cover various shifts. Training and compliance with client policies are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Armed work requires 21+ with a Michigan CPL or LEOSA card.
• Must pass a drug screen at hire and randomly thereafter (including marijuana).
• Must not have felonies.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certified or willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to clients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain a professional security presence at the assigned site.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.
• Control access: verify IDs and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with safety procedures.
