Headquartered in beautiful Carlsbad, CA, we are a full‑service Design‑Build company that manages projects throughout the United States. Our field operations team works on site for each of our projects, specializing in fast‑track new commercial construction for both public and private clients with a primary focus on the Department of Defense market.
We are looking for a Construction Site Safety Officer (SSHO) to join our West Coast Field Operations team for military projects located in San Diego County. Headquarter/Office assignment will be in Carlsbad, but specific construction projects, on an active military base, could be anywhere in San Diego County.
Our Site Safety Officers (SSHO's) plan, prepare, organize, implement, and execute all safety administrative and performance requirements for an assigned project in accordance with contract specifications, EM‑385, OSHA, RQ internal Safety Management System, and Accident Prevention Plan (APP). They fully integrate with the project team to support the safe production of quality work. The SSHO may provide oversight to daily activities for assigned direct reports and must work on‑site. Local candidates will be given preference depending on project location; relocation or travel to on‑site management may be required.
$90,000–$125,000 annually (depends on experience)
